Amanda Fink (she/her) came to Black Box Acting in the summer of 2011 and she hasn’t looked back since. Currently Black Box's Creative Director and co-owner, she’s worn many hats at Black Box – ACADEMY alumna, STUDIO student, Student Affairs Coordinator – and she completed the Black Box Teacher Training Program in 2017. Acting credits include Chicago: Noises Off, POTUS (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Translations (Writers Theatre); Pro-Am, Plano, I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard, peerless (First Floor Theater, selected); Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Court Theatre); Tilikum, Give It All Back (Sideshow Theatre Company). Regional: Noises Off (Geffen Playhouse). Amanda is a co-founder and proud company member of First Floor Theater. Amanda also co-facilitates Leadership Rehearsal as a Performance Coach at the Harry L. Davis Center for Leadership at the Chicago Booth School of Business, where she has also offered public speaking coaching, and been a guest artist in the Women’s Leadership program. Amanda holds degrees in Theater and Performance Studies and English Language and Literature from The University of Chicago. She is represented by Grossman & Jack.
