About Amanda

Amanda (she/her) came to Black Box Acting in the summer of 2011 and she hasn’t looked back since. Currently Black Box's Creative Director, she’s worn many hats at Black Box – ACADEMY alumna, STUDIO student, Student Affairs Coordinator – and she completed the Black Box Teacher Training Program in 2017. As an actor, Amanda has had the pleasure of working with Court Theatre, Sideshow Theatre Company ,and First Floor Theater, where she is a founding company member. She was most recently seen in POTUS at Steppenwolf directed by Audrey Francis. Amanda holds degrees in Theater and Performance Studies and English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. She is represented by Grossman & Jack.
